Silverlight: Moving web 2.0 to the next level

Microsoft has just released its much anticipated Silverlight platform for development of interactive Web applications. Silverlight will enable cross platform apps on Web, PC and mobile devices. Microsoft also announced that it will provide Linux support for Silverlight. Silverlight is expected to be the next big thing after Javascript and Flash.
